Andrew Shadid
Andrew Shadid is the CEO of Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, a medical group, and INC 5000 awardee, seeking to increase healthcare equity through care cost reduction. After graduating from Wheaton College with a focus on social entrepreneurship, he performed graduate work (Bridge Program) at the Dartmouth Tuck School of Business. At Genesis, Andrew and team are tackling the increasing problem of healthcare inequity, as 25% of the United States population lacks access to adequate specialty care services. Andrew has been invited to speak on this work nationally and internationally, most notably at the United Nations Headquarters, to Members of Congress, at various colleges and universities, and at numerous healthcare conferences in the United States. Andrew frequently travels to the Middle East, often leading trips of students and leaders to Israel/Palestine. Modern Healthcare named Andrew as a 2022 Emerging Leader. Andrew is married to Maryam Bighash, is father to two sons, and is an avid soccer fan.
