Jackie is a Nurse Practitioner that has been in the nursing field for over 20 years! She started out in cancer care and bone marrow transplant at Loyola University and then branched out to other areas of medicine such as neurology, ortho, and she has even worked at a maximum security prison. However, she was always most comfortable in orthopedic medicine and helping patients learn how to prevent their pain. Education on disease prevention and conservative ways to manage medical problems has always been a top priority in her career.
Jackie started her education at Loyola University where she obtained her BSN. After working for a few years she then went on to the University of Saint Francis and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She has always considered going back to school, however, she has 2 very active daughters that seem to prevent that right now! She has also been working alongside her husband, Dr. Ryan Pizinger, for several years.
In her limited free time, she enjoys reading, watching murder mystery shows, and hanging out with her family.
