Thomas Lewandowski is a graduate of the U.S. Army Interservice Physician Assistant program. He has been a practicing Physician Assistant in Orthopedics for 18 years. He is also an Iraq War veteran. Over an almost 20 year career he has had many impactful moments – both military and civilian. His first exposure to the profession was when he was serving as a medic and surgical technician with the Army. He considers becoming a PA one of the best and most rewarding decisions in his life. He enjoys being able to pass on his knowledge to younger PAs and working in a team environment. His most recent position practicing in the mountains of Western North Carolina allowed him to provide care to those who would otherwise not have had access. He has also participated in medical missions in the past.
