Afect\u00f3 todos los aspectos de mi vida. El dolor era tan intenso que necesitaba usar una silla de ruedas &quot;. Kim estaba decidida a cambiar su vida y tener el control. Comenz\u00f3 con algunos peque\u00f1os cambios en el estilo de vida que la llevaron a una dieta m\u00e1s saludable y a la p\u00e9rdida de peso. Su m\u00e9dico de cabecera la refiri\u00f3 a G\u00e9nesis y&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/genesisortho.com\/es\/our-team\/about-dr-shadid\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Shadid<\/a>, quien recomend\u00f3 el reemplazo de rodilla. &quot;Dr. Shadid fue tan amable. Respondi\u00f3 a todas mis preguntas, as\u00ed que sab\u00eda qu\u00e9 esperar &quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Kim estaba encantada despu\u00e9s de su primera cirug\u00eda. \u201c\u00a1Fue bastante sorprendente que el procedimiento pudiera realizarse como paciente ambulatorio y que pudiera levantarme y caminar por el pasillo ese mismo d\u00eda!\u201d Seis meses despu\u00e9s de la primera cirug\u00eda, a Kim le reemplazaron la segunda rodilla. Ella trabaj\u00f3 duro en su rehabilitaci\u00f3n y abraz\u00f3&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/genesisortho.com\/es\/patient-education\/knee-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\">fisioterapia de rodilla<\/a>&nbsp;y su estilo de vida saludable con grandes resultados. \u201cEsperaba una mejor movilidad, \u00a1pero los resultados superaron mis expectativas! Nunca pens\u00e9 que podr\u00eda volver a pedalear, usar tacones o bailar. Siento que el mundo entero se me ha abierto. Ahora tengo muchas ganas de probar cosas nuevas y hacer todas las actividades que no he podido hacer en mucho tiempo. \u00a1Estoy muy emocionado con este nuevo cap\u00edtulo!
