Este es un tipo de s\u00edndrome de atrapamiento nervioso y se clasifica seg\u00fan la ubicaci\u00f3n en la que ocurre. A medida que los nervios transmiten informaci\u00f3n desde el cerebro y la m\u00e9dula espinal hacia el resto del cuerpo, su atrapamiento puede afectar la funcionalidad del \u00f3rgano o parte del cuerpo de hacia d\u00f3nde est\u00e1 destinada la se\u00f1al.<\/p><p>El tipo de atrapamiento nervioso en el cuerpo humano que se ve con m\u00e1s frecuencia se conoce como s\u00edndrome del t\u00fanel carpiano, en el que va a haber un pellizcamiento del nervio mediano cuando atraviesa el canal carpiano, en la mu\u00f1eca. Debido a que el nervio mediano se encarga de proporcionarnos sensaci\u00f3n y capacidad de movimiento a ciertas partes de la mano, su atrapamiento puede causar entumecimiento, debilidad y \/ o dolor en la mano y los dedos.
