Los traumatismos, movimientos repetitivos o dislocaciones recurrentes de la articulaci\u00f3n del hombro en la infancia o la adultez pueden desencadenar esta afecci\u00f3n. La articulaci\u00f3n glenohumeral es una de las articulaciones con mayor rango de movimiento del cuerpo humano. Por eso, lo que le sobra en movilidad le falta en estabilidad. El h\u00famero o hueso de la parte superior del brazo descansa en la cavidad glenoidea ubicada en el om\u00f3plato. La inestabilidad ocurre cuando hay un movimiento anormal de la articulaci\u00f3n glenohumeral y esto puede ocurrir por muchas posibilidades diferentes. Las personas que padecen inestabilidad de la articulaci\u00f3n glenohumeral normalmente se quejan de sentir el \u201chombro suelto\", por presentar dolor, molestias y\/o hiperlaxitud. When injury occurs to the labrum a labral tear may result. Tears can occur either above or below the glenoid socket. Tears below the genoid socket are most commonly associated with shoulder instability <a href=\"https:\/\/laser-hair-removal.ca\/\">Laser-Hair-Removal.ca<\/a>. Surgery is typically a last resort measure and is performed arthroscopically. During surgery the ligaments are reattached to tighten the shoulder socket and improve overall shoulder laxity.
